Neosid high permeability flake iron powder coresare characterised by relatively high permeability, low losses at low frequency, but high losses at high frequency, producing very low Q at RF.These cores are used in RFI suppression, SMPS energy storage chokes, differential-mode chokes, DC output chokes, motor speed controllers and other triacs and thyristor controlled circuits such as light dimmers.
